An example of some of the models and token available in the module

Thought I would share this today and give you all a small update. I added a small blast marker to the tokens set. This marker is pretty cool because after you place it on the board you can use "ctr+]" to cycle the art to a small blast crater. You can see examples of both in the image above.

Just a little preview of the preset map that comes with the module. Along with this map comes two other boards. Both are empty and ready for you to place terrain.

Flames of War Open Fire for VASSAL

Vassal Flames of War is back....again...for maybe the 10th or 20th time! Yeah I'm excited about it too. I have to be honest with you right here up front. I'm dipping my toe, and only my toe, back into this project. In case you can't tell I'm trying to do a little bit of expectation management upfront. That way when I tell you the module is limited in content and then you see it's limited in content your not disappointed.

But enough of the Debbie downer talk, this is supposed to be an exciting announcement. So lets move on to the good stuff. Sometime this weekend I will be sorting out and uploading a fully functional and working Vassal module. Remember when I said the module would be limited in content? This is the part where I tell you the module will only contain the content found in the Open Fire starter set. I can here you all awwing and booing but I remind you that this is a start.

So watch this site for a link to the download which should show up sometime in the next few days!
